Research shows that people who take the time to schedule, plan, reflect and set goals, are more likely to achieve them and are happier and more resilient. Our philosophy is to build the key components of wellness into this virtual therapeutic group program.
Delivered directly in the mail to your door to start this program is the 90 Day Design for Life planner which has a therapeutic and wholistic approach as it is a transformational tool to kick start a 90-day Design for Your Life. Yes your life!! Your one and only life.
This program will meet virtually for 12 weeks once per week for 1.5 hours. We will be running the program with a limited number, working directly with Lynn Hiscoe.
We know that there are some critical factors that make up a healthy and happy human and we are so extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to ensure we maximize those results. I have broken them down into six key elements.

We will be utilizing the key modalities of two evidenced based therapies. One is DBT; Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and the other is CBT; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
This is a comprehensive treatment program that involves group skills training. To participate in the program, participants need to commit to weekly group coaching sessions.

Program Outline...
Mindfulness skills are central to DBT and are integrated throughout this CBT/DBT program.
The core modules of the DBT component include:
- Emotion Regulation Skills: Learning to understand, name and change emotions.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills: Learning to maintain healthy relationships and foster self-respect.
- Distress Tolerance Skills : Learning to survive and manage crisis periods.
The core modules of the CBT component include:
- Understanding how our thoughts affects our behaviour and our emotions.
- Walking the participants through a though record.
- Practicing the techniques of finding alternative and a more balanced way of thinking.

I loved filling in ‘Mediation, prayer, reading, writing’ ... nice to put in a little morning prayer or a ‘saying’ you just read on your email or FB. It made me look at: “my intention “ for the day - even though I am retired, during COVID. In the evening it is very cool to fill in “Evening Journal” as it made me think and reflect on ‘what I am grateful for/ and reflection of the day’, as well as putting in an evening prayer or saying I saw during the day in BedTime Ritual. I used this as my ‘journal of thoughts, feelings, events, reflections, future plans, thoughts, sorrows, goals, enjoyments, disappointments, etc. I guess I ‘journaled’ , as usually I have very few ‘time’ commitments. This was a very freeing and useful daily writing for ME/MY DAY/MY BEING. Thinking back of my daily life as a teacher, having meetings and raising four kids, I can see how the ‘times’ would have be very helpful. But no matter working or retired we have to make plans, face challenges and JOURNALLING is an excellent tool for ALL WOMEN, in different stages of their life.
